MEDIA ADVISORY

Tequila Party Announces Kick-off Political Rally

For Immediate Release

31 May 2011

Phoenix, AZ – The official non-partisan National Tequila Party movement (NTPM) is happy to announce our first political rally and Latin Get-Out-the-Vote event to be held in Tucson, Arizona. We are excited about this movement and we have already received positive and overwhelming support by grassroots leaders across the nation. One of our goals is to counter negative views and perception of our culture with positive ones as we register new Latin voters in droves for primary election day as well as general election day.

We will kick off our national movement in Tucson because of the culture crisis we are currently experiencing with regard to the banning of Ethnic Studies. Our first speaker is immigration activist, David Morales, followed by our guest speaker, Arizona State Senator Steve Gallardo.

We will have Mariachi live entertainment, Aztec Dancers and artwork featured by local Latino artists will be displayed throughout our venue. Our event will be available via “live streaming” via TVOOP.com if you live outside of the State of Arizona.

Please join us this Saturday.

WHEN: June 4, 2011, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
WHERE: La Cocina Courtyard – 201 N Court Ave., Tucson, Arizona 85701
WHAT: Political speakers, Latino Get-Out-The-Vote, Free Entertainment. Food and Drink specials.

About the National Tequila Party Movement

The National Tequila Party Movement is a national tour of concerts, events, dinners and rallies that will encourage a massive Latino Get Out The Vote. This movement is a non-partisan movement. We don’t care how people vote, we just want them to get on the early ballot system, become consistent primary and general election voters.
